Bruno Boni's wildlife photography is born of a conviction: nature hides more than the eye can see. In Galo-da-Serra, the emblematic bird of the Amazon appears backlit, its inflated orange plumage turned into threads of gold, an almost unreal presence condensing all the color of the forest into a single being. In Araçari-mulato, the 800 millimeter lens reveals the only bird on the planet whose crown feathers form black curls sculpted like lacquer, its turquoise eye meeting the camera with disconcerting serenity.
