Bruno Boni's New York photography is born of an intersection: the meeting of natural phenomena with the most built-up city on the planet. The artist lived in Manhattan between 2015 and 2019, and it was there that the habit of hunting alignments was born: studying astronomical charts to predict the instant when the moon would cross the street canyons and the icons of the skyline. From that method came Moonhattanhenge, an original take on Manhattan's celebrated alignment: the full moon of the 2016 solstice crossing 42nd Street between the billboards of Times Square. The image traveled the world and made the cover of CNN's website. In Super Lua ESB, the last supermoon of 2025 locks onto the top of the Empire State Building, photographed from 6.5 kilometers away, at minus 8 degrees Celsius, after weeks of studying position and timing. The celestial body is the signature, not the sole subject: what matters is the dialogue between celestial mechanics and the human landscape, the moment when nature visits the vertical city.

These images unite two scales that rarely fit in the same frame, and that rarity is what makes them collectible.
